Masayo Tsukawaki - Abstract Painter
Born in Japan, Masayo Tsukawaki started to lean traditional calligraphy and piano at the age of 3.
Since middle school, she had the opportunity to live in both western countries and Japan.
After spending both bi-cultural lives as teenager and after finishing college, she moved to NYC as a scholarship student at The Art Students League of New York for a period of five years. During that time she developed a way of expressing her traditional and multicultural background on to canvas.
She feels painting is exactly like composing music, her expression happens to be on canvas. She enjoys colors and rhythm during the process of painting.
She has had many solo and group exhibitions in Japan and the United States.
Also, She does Back drop or Art works for Theaters and Concerts. as well as rent her works for model rooms and  restaurants.
Individual and corporate collections of her paintings.
She recently enrolled as an artist for the corporate program of DeCordova Museum in Massachusetts.
